Walter Soplata Aircraft Collection
Newbury

Called "the junk yard" by locals, Mr. Soplata collected aircraft and placed them around his property, hoping some day to restore them. A glance at the "visitors' book" revealed names of pilots and authors familiar to me. I visited the collection in June or July 1979.
